Week 1 of the 30 Day Online Fitness Challenge

I hope you have been participating in my online 30 day challenge! Every day I am posting healthy activities for you to accomplish. The activities require no equipment and no purchase necessary. I just thought it would be a fun way for us to stay accountable on and through Halloween!

DAY 1 of 30 Day Challenge: Let’s start basic! 

Pick up the pace today! If you don’t get out much, go for a walk today. If you enjoy walks, add in a jog. If you already jog, make it a run. If you’re a runner, do some sprints!

Day 2 of 30 Day Challenge: Push Ups!

Today I challenge you to complete 25 push ups. break em up if you need to or complete them all at once. You can do 5 push-ups at five different points, or in sets of 10. This is about challenge yourself.

Here is a video of proper technique and different difficulty levels including push ups on your knees, regular push-ups, and elevated push ups.

Day 3 of 30 Day Challenge: Legs Day

After yesterdays shoulder and chest workout, lets focus on our lower body and throw in a bit of cardio. Do as many as you can in the time allotted and repeat it for a total of three times:

~30 seconds squats, 1 minute sit ups, 30 seconds jumping jacks~

Day 4 of 30 Day Challenge: back to chest my friends! 

Today I want you to do 50 burpees. stand up, hands up in the air above the head. now put your hands down, hop your legs back. Do a push up. bring your feet back in. stand up, hands above your head and jump vertically.

Repeat. If you have never done these before, I suggest doing them in groups of 5 or 10. Of course you can do push ups on your knees if you need to!

Day 5 of 30 Day Challenge: today is about jumping!

I want you to do 30 seconds of jumping jacks, 30 seconds of vertical jumps, and 30 seconds of squat jumps. For squat jumps get in a squat position, jump up, and pull your legs up. make sure to land softly on your toes with your knees bent. Repeat this sequence three times and do as many as you can in each of the 30 seconds.

Day 7 of 30 day challenge

Today I want you to find a recipe. It must be healthy. and it must contain at least 1 cup of vegetables. Then… I want you to commit to making it this week. post the recipe in the comments and the day you plan to make it!
