Knee Dislocation Progress and Bodily Cravings
One final exam down – one to go.
I got an A on today’s so hopefully Friday’s will go as well! I’d be pretty ecstatic with a B on it though – it is a cumulative Neuroanatomy exam afterall.
On other notes
I got my shakeology t-shirt in the mail today! I LOVE the color. It’s a great shade of pink and I have both a white and a pink skirt I can wear it with this summer!
I have been drinking shakeology every single day since my injury – both for the vitamins AND to help me maintain my weight. I absolutely REFUSE to gain weight while I have to sit on my ass for the next few weeks. I may even try to go on a walk on crutches just to burn some calories and blow off some stress tomorrow. We’ll see.
My knee is healing!
I did hobble around my house a wee bit this afternoon. My husband had to go off to work and I have to eat. So I used just one crutch and put minimal weight on my knee in order to get to the kitchen, thaw out some spaghetti and home made meat sauce, and carry it back to my room. I did take some tylenol, but my knee seems to be doing okay.
We’ll see though, it felt pretty good most of yesterday until I went to a friend’s to study last night. So hopefully it doesn’t get worse as the day progresses. I will have shakeology for dinner though so at least I won’t have to stand for long. And I may just wait till my hubby gets home around 9 or so to make it for me. We’ll see how hungry I get.
My body is seriously DYING to workout. I really suck at sitting still. As much as I enjoy ONE day in bed, I really hate multiple days in bed. I’m ready to jump around and get back to my Les Mills Pump workouts! My goal is to be able to have my husband help me get the weights and to do the chest press, shoulders, biceps, and triceps from a chair/bench on Friday. triceps and shoulders are my weakest anyways – so it will be nice to just focus on the smaller muscle groups for a bit while my knee heals.
